How to connect Pipedrive CRM to the free Czech Business Register?

Connecting Pipedrive to the Czech Commercial Register (ARES) is the most common integration we do at Dáváme. So we decided to make it easier for everyone. Install the free add-on extension and let us add companies by ic directly in Pipedrive.

How does the extension work?

When you add a new company to Pipedrive, including its company ID, the exact name and address from the business register is added. The same goes for edits to a company - if you change the company's ID number, it will add the information according to the newly entered ID number.

This add-on has no limits and is free for all Pipedrive users.

The add-on does not add the ID number in case of data import or bulk data editing. This is due to limitations on the part of the business registry API provider.

How to connect Pipedrive to the Commercial Register

1. Log in to your Pipedrive CRM. If you don't have an account yet, try the free 30-day trial.

2. Type "czech" in the search box in the top middle and select the apps icon in the left column. Select Czech Companies Details.

3. The app detail will open. Click Authorize.

4. Another window will then open - if you have multiple instances, select which one to install it to. Otherwise, just click on Allow and Install.

5. The final screen appears with an instructional video. Click Continue to Pipedrive.

6. Go to the settings for apps downloaded from the Pipedrive Marketplace (your name on the top right -> Tools and Apps -> Apps from the Marketplace on the bottom left)

7. Next to Czech Companies Details, click on the button with three dots and select Settings.

8. Expand the Select ID field and select the organization field in which you are entering the ID (it must be a text field, not a number, date or other format). Click Save.

If you do not see the field, wait 2-3 minutes and then log in again.

9. You're done. You can go to any organization - add or change the ID number and within a few seconds the data from ARES will be added.
